Philadelphia Police officers stand at attention as the body of slain Highway Patrol Officer Patrick McDonald is taken to the medical examiners office from the Temple Hospital emergency room in North Philadelphia Tuesday September 23, 2008. McDonald was gunned down while making a car stop by a man on parole. McDonald was one of 5 Philadelphia Police Officers killed in the line of duty in a 13 month period.
